My main interest is older adult nutrition, especially for women over 50 like myself, and how we can use food and lifestyle interventions to get the most out of this stage of our lives, so we don’t just age but age healthily, both physically and mentally. So I focus on peri and post menopause (where the loss of oestrogen means an increased risk of heart disease and osteoporosis), plus weight control, and type 2 diabetes prevention.
It’s always easier to stick to our goals when we feel accountable to someone and feel supported. The first step to achieving this is a short, completely FREE 15 minute assessment so I can understand your needs and to see if we are a good fit. Contact me to arrange a suitable time.
Should you then decide to book a 1-to-1 consultation, I offer these via phone or Zoom, costing £60 and lasting 60 minutes. I will ask you to complete and return an initial assessment form prior to your session so I can work on solutions ready for when we chat.
What I don’t offer
As a nutritionist rather than a dietitian, I am only qualified to provide information about food and healthy eating, to help prevent or alleviate certain ailments, but not about special diets for managing medical conditions. If you are looking for help in that area you can find a freelance dietitian here
I only see clients who are over the age of 18 and who have a body mass index (BMI) over 18.5. To check your BMI please use this calculator
